Osteoarthritis:

Osteoarthritis has been considered as a joint cartilage disease. It is the general form of inflammation occurred in the joints, affecting more than 15 million people in the U.S. The effects of Osteoarthritis are it weakens the cartilage of the joint.

When Osteoarthritis is developed in our joints, the cartilage covering the ends of the bones slowly gets rough and becomes thin.

Vitamin C

Omega 3 fatty acids

Omega 3 decreases the inflammation by suppressing the production of the cytokines and the enzymes that break down the cartilage.

Ginger and turmeric are the spices that have anti-inflammatory effects. Some of the studies have stated that Curcumin which is the major component of turmeric help Osteoarthritis by suppressing inflammatory body chemicals.

If the diet doesn’t include these vitamins then there may be a risk of getting joint pain and Osteoarthritis.
